December has been a busy month with plenty of travelling between our Dublin office and the UK offices in London.
Naturally, December is a quieter month as things start to wind down ahead of the festive period, providing the perfect opportunity for us to do some planning ahead of the New Year.
It was great to spend some time with our UK team finalising our 2019 research plans, which we will be releasing shortly. We are confident that these will help support our clients build and deliver a robust strategy for future growth despite the economic uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
We attended the annual trade reception in the Irish embassy, where Bord Bia CEO Tara O’Rourke reminded us of the importance of Anglo-Celtic trade relations. The recently rebranded Executive Institute held their Christmas lunch and delegates learned of the confident predictions made by their peers in a recent survey.
In the final push before Christmas, we launched an exciting bespoke piece of research in the cosmetics space and we also completed a deep dive into the Irish tobacco and e-cig shopper.
Oh and we enjoyed a couple of Christmas parties where we toasted a successful 2018!
